Yellowstone Sunset

Having already spent a full day in the park and having no clouds whatsoever, we made the decision to go back in and get a sunset shot after seeing some clouds form in the early evening.

This is what we found. Conditions were just about perfect, interesting clouds in the sky, color, no wind and a wonderful location. Unfortunately, it was also perfect for mosquitos and they came at us which a vengeance. Even slathering on some repellant (40% DEET) did not keep them at bay – we were still eaten alive. They even managed to bite through the shirt I was wearing.

It was worth it though as having several days with uninteresting skies (no clouds) and very harsh sunlight, it was great to get something much more interesting.
