McWay Falls in Big Sur

This is another shot from our Big Sur trip last May. The waterfall flows right onto the beach and flows all year, so you are pretty much assured of a decent shot whenever you go there.

This show was taken from the main walking track that goes around and provides some great vantage points

The photo was processed first in Lightroom to get some contrast in the clouds and to lighten up the darker areas. I then used Nik Color Efex to give the colors some extra punch and to further enhance the sky and clouds. As a final step, I used my “Vibrant” Lightroom preset to provide some overall vibrance and light to the picture.
